This paper assesses the pendulum of Tibetan culture in regards to an autonomous philosophical trajectory and one that is shared with Western influences. The paper utilizes Tibetan and Western literature as evidence for its conclusions. It delves into the deep schisms and congruities that permeate the relationship between the East and the West.
